7 Settlements Most Americans Don't Know They Qualify For

You probably qualify for at least 3 of these. No proof required for most.

There are class action settlements open right now that cover such broad groups of people that you almost certainly qualify for several. Here are 7 that fly under the radar.

1. Bought beef at a grocery store? You qualify.

The Beef Price-Fixing Settlement covers anyone who bought beef products between 2014 and 2019. Major producers conspired to inflate prices. No receipt needed. If you eat beef, you qualify. Deadline: June 30, 2026.

2. Flew domestic between 2011-2018? You qualify.

The Domestic Airline Antitrust Settlement covers tickets on Delta, Southwest, United, American, Continental, and US Airways. Airlines allegedly colluded on pricing. Hundreds of millions of flights are covered.

3. Have an Android phone? You probably qualify.

Google's $135M Android Data Collection Settlement covers anyone who used cellular data on an Android device since November 2017. That's over 100 million people. Pending final approval, but worth watching.

4. Have a Capital One savings account? You qualify.

If you had a Capital One 360 savings account between September 2019 and June 2025, you may be eligible. Capital One allegedly marketed high rates to new customers while quietly lowering rates on existing accounts.

5. Shopped online at Boohoo or PrettyLittleThing? You qualify.

If you bought from Boohoo, BoohooMAN, PrettyLittleThing, or Nasty Gal outside California between 2016 and 2022, you can claim a $10 gift card. Their "sale" pricing was allegedly misleading. No proof needed.

6. Had Amazon Prime? You might qualify.

The FTC's settlement with Amazon covers people who were "unintentionally enrolled" in Prime between 2019 and 2025. Ever sign up for a free trial and get charged? You may be owed up to $51. No proof required.

7. Bought a Michael Kors outlet item? You qualify.

Made any purchase at a Michael Kors outlet store between May 2019 and November 2025? Get a $30 merchandise card. No receipt needed. Deadline: March 6, 2026.

Why don't people know about these?

Settlement administrators are legally required to notify class members, but notifications often get buried in junk mail or spam folders. Companies aren't exactly motivated to make sure you file — the less people claim, the less they pay out.

That's why 96% of settlement funds go unclaimed.
